Cloud Architect (Multi-Cloud)

Location: 100% remote within the United States

Salary: $100,000–$180,000 annually

What you will do

• Define multi-cloud strategies, target-state architectures, adoption guardrails, and reusable reference designs across AWS, Azure, GCP, and OCI.
• Design federated identity, SSO, cross-cloud authorization, transit hubs, private connectivity, and zero-trust networking patterns.
• Establish infrastructure-as-code, policy-as-code, container, Kubernetes, and serverless strategies that work consistently across providers.
• Develop cross-cloud approaches for data movement, residency, analytics, observability, security monitoring, policy enforcement, and FinOps.
• Lead multi-cloud disaster recovery, business continuity, security, KMS, and key-management strategies.
• Guide engineering teams, create architecture artifacts, evaluate cloud-provider roadmaps, and translate platform developments into adoption proposals.

Requirements

• U.S. work authorization is required; eligible applicants include U.S. citizens, Green Card holders, EAD holders, and H-1B transfer candidates.
• New H-1B visa sponsorship is not available.
• 12 or more years of experience in cloud architecture roles.
• Hands-on architecture experience across at least two major cloud providers, with deep knowledge of cloud networking, identity, and security.
• Strong experience with infrastructure-as-code, policy-as-code, federated identity, SSO, Kubernetes, container platforms, and managed cloud services.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, multiple cloud certifications, and strong communication and stakeholder-management skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with Crossplane, Pulumi, or Terraform CDK.
• Familiarity with cloud-agnostic observability platforms.
• Experience with large-scale cloud-to-cloud migrations or regulated-industry multi-cloud mandates.
• Public talks or writing on multi-cloud architecture.
