Solution Architect (Healthcare Data)

What you will do

• Design scalable, flexible, and resilient cloud architectures for new and ongoing client implementations.
• Author architecture design documents covering data flows, sequence diagrams, and overall system architecture, primarily for CMS Interoperability solutions.
• Assess current business and system capabilities and define target-state technology strategies and roadmaps.
• Collaborate with business experts, analysts, project managers, sales, account executives, product managers, and data engineers to deliver client projects.
• Translate client-specific requirements into product capabilities and roadmap opportunities.
• Mentor implementation teams and provide ongoing support for technical questions and delivery issues.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of US healthcare data and systems, including medical and pharmacy claims, enrollment, providers, clinical data, and payer environments.
• Expertise in CMS Interoperability Mandate requirements, mandated APIs, and FHIR data structures.
• Experience defining solution architecture visions and producing architecture design documents.
• Broad technical knowledge across infrastructure, data models, databases, service-oriented architecture, programming, frameworks, standards, and technical modeling.
• Strong experience with one or more cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, and experience with data platforms such as Databricks or Snowflake.
• Ability to translate business needs into technology solutions and communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Experience with provider and EHR data formats, including FHIR, X-12, HL7 V2.3, and CCDA/CDA.
• Knowledge of Utilization Management, Care Management, or Disease Management.
• Previous experience with healthcare payers, interoperability vendors, client services, or cloud-based data management providers.
