Director Supply Chain

Location: Holdrege, Nebraska, USA; regular domestic travel and occasional international travel required

What you will do

• Lead supply chain and materials management across two locations in Nebraska and Wisconsin.
• Define and deploy hirify.global’s operating model, strategic initiatives, and demand-driven SIOP processes.
• Improve demand management, materials planning, tactical purchasing, warehousing, inventory control, and supply continuity.
• Optimize WMS, ERP, MRP, barcoding, RFID, replenishment, cycle counting, and Plan for Every Part processes.
• Partner with executive management and cross-functional teams to improve business processes, productivity, fill rates, working capital, and material margins.
• Select, coach, and develop supply chain managers and materials managers while managing objectives, performance, succession planning, and budgets.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, engineering, business, operations management, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• At least 10 years of experience in operations, business, or supply chain.
• At least 5 years of experience as a WMS/ERP/MRP super user, including SAP, Oracle, or JDE.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, organization, and time-management skills.
• Experience collaborating across multiple sites, functions, cultures, disciplines, and geographies.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel up to 30% domestically and internationally as needed.

Nice to have

• Lean background, preferably with Demand Flow Principles, SIOP, and IBP.
• Supply chain or materials certifications such as CPM or CPIM.
• Experience in both high-mix, low-volume and high-volume, low-mix production environments.
