Supplier Development Manager (Aerospace)

Location: Mobile Area, Alabama, United States. The role requires regular domestic and international travel, potentially up to 25%, for supplier audits and visits. Applicants must be able to work in the United States.

hirify.global develops and manufactures commercial aircraft, helicopters, and aerospace systems, with procurement activities supporting multiple business divisions and production sites.

What you will do

• Develop supplier relationships and create continuous improvement plans and roadmaps.
• Lead supply-chain and quality improvement programs for general procurement suppliers.
• Conduct or support supplier-site process audits, control reviews, and compliance activities.
• Review supplier delivery, quality, capability, and capacity performance with strategic and high-risk suppliers.
• Manage supplier corrective, improvement, development, and risk-mitigation action plans.
• Coordinate transfer-of-work projects, derisking activities, and surveillance assessments.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Approximately 10 years of experience in procurement, quality, or related functions.
• Experience with quality or Lean management, supply-chain management, and project management.
• Fluent English is required.
• Current US work authorization is required.
• Ability to travel independently and at short notice, including visits to offices and production areas.

Nice to have

• Project management or quality certifications.
• Industrial background.
• SAP experience.
• Experience with hirify.global quality systems.
• French, German, or Spanish fluency.
