Sr. Manager, Supply Chain

Location: Billerica, Massachusetts, United States. On-site role; travel up to 25% of the time. Must be a U.S. Person to work at Excelitas.

What you will do

• Lead procurement, materials planning, production planning, stockroom, shipping and receiving, logistics, ERP administration, supplier contracts, and site inventory operations.
• Manage and improve closed-loop MRP planning processes, ERP data integrity, and business processes for manufacturing orders, returns, consignment, and shipping.
• Develop KPIs covering inventory accuracy, supplier delivery and quality, master schedule compliance, and bill-of-material accuracy.
• Implement Sales, Inventory, and Operations Planning to align production and material supply with customer demand and on-time delivery.
• Drive cost reduction, supplier-base rationalization, value engineering, and supply chain process improvements across the product life cycle.
• Lead and develop the supply chain team, manage supplier performance and negotiations, and resolve production constraints with manufacturing teams.

Requirements

• 5–10+ years of materials management experience in a manufacturing environment.
• At least 5 years of MRP experience and demonstrated expertise in materials planning, master scheduling, inventory management, production control, and logistics.
• Experience building teams, developing supply chain strategies, and managing performance.
• Strong data analysis skills using multiple software platforms and Excel.
• Excellent presentation, interpersonal, supplier negotiation, and contract management skills.
• Must be a U.S. Person; visa sponsorship is not available.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in science or business administration, or equivalent experience.
• ASCM certification.
• Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Six Sigma experience or certification.
