Sr Supply Chain Program Manager (Aerospace)

Location: Plano, Texas, United States; work in an office environment is required. U.S. citizenship is required to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance.

What you will do

• Lead supply chain performance for business units and large, complex aerospace and defense programs.
• Manage and develop Supply Chain Project Coordinators and Supply Chain Program Managers, including staffing, performance management, and training.
• Develop supply chain management, sourcing, negotiation, supplier, and subcontract strategies.
• Coordinate procurement, subcontract management, engineering, operations, and business management activities against program schedules and milestones.
• Manage cost, technical, and schedule performance using control account and earned value management practices, including CPI and SPI reporting.
• Support proposals and new pursuits through supplier evaluations, make-or-buy assessments, requirements development, risk mitigation, and Basis of Estimate preparation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with a technical or engineering concentration, or equivalent relevant technical experience; 11+ years of operations or related experience, or 15 years without a degree.
• Extensive experience in procurement, contract management, program and subcontract management, cost and schedule analysis, and product lifecycle phases from prototyping through sustainment.
• Experience with the Department of Defense and aerospace and defense sectors, including aircraft, electronics, software, and other high-tech commodities.
• Expertise in Design for Supply Chain, Design to Product Target Cost, risk and opportunity management, EVMS, ERP/MRP systems, material sales forecasting, and gate reviews.
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills and the ability to perform data analytics, communicate clearly, and present to groups.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance; U.S. citizenship is required. Ability to travel 25%–50% on average, with occasional extensive travel.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in a relevant field.
• CPSM, PMP, ISM, or Defense Acquisition University certification.
• Experience with FAR, FAA regulations, AS9100, cybersecurity requirements, Ivalua, CostPoint, or other ERP/MRP systems.
• Experience leading large-scale procurement operations and influencing stakeholders across organizational levels.
