What you will do

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to acutely ill patients using the nursing process and evidence-based practice.
• Assess patient needs, develop and update individualized care plans, and coordinate nursing, teaching, continuity-of-care, and discharge activities.
• Administer medications safely according to patient age and clinical condition while following the six medication rights.
• Perform phone triage, deliver abnormal test results, and provide related care instructions.
• Educate patients and families about procedures, treatments, pain management, and self-care.
• Participate in quality improvement, shared governance, committees, and department projects.

Requirements

• Current experience within the past five years or graduation from a nursing program within the past two years.
• Registered Nurse license valid in the state of employment.
• Current CPR and Basic Life Support certification.
• Clinical assessment, critical thinking, patient education, care planning, and medication administration skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.

Nice to have

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
• One year of experience in a relevant clinical specialty.
• Proficiency in a second language.
