Registered Nurse-CVICU Part Time Nights

Location: Palos Heights, Illinois, United States; onsite night shift

Salary: USD 34.50–55.20 per hour

What you will do

• Provide individualized, age-specific nursing care to CVICU patients from admission through discharge.
• Assess, organize, document, and continuously reassess patient health data and care needs.
• Develop, update, and evaluate individualized plans of care, including discharge planning.
• Deliver evidence-based patient and family education.
• Collaborate with patients, families, nurses, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams on care plans and patient progress.
• Identify unmet outcomes, coordinate referrals, and support continuity of care.

Requirements

• Current Illinois Registered Professional Nurse license required.
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred; an ADN is acceptable with a commitment to obtain a BSN within three years of starting the clinical nurse role.
• Strong interpersonal, analytical, collaboration, and communication skills.
• Clinical-area experience preferred.
• External ADN candidates are not currently being considered for RN openings at Palos Hospital; internal ADN candidates are encouraged to apply.
