Senior AI Engineer

What you will do

• Design, build, deploy, maintain, and continuously improve production AI agents and agentic workflows.
• Develop n8n workflows and stateful LangGraph applications using Python, enterprise APIs, webhooks, tools, checkpoints, persistent state, and human approval steps.
• Design prompts, context assembly, structured outputs, RAG pipelines, model-selection strategies, and reusable agent tools.
• Implement governed, permission-aware data access, retrieval, memory, source traceability, and user- and matter-level access controls.
• Build evaluation datasets, automated tests, regression testing, observability, and failure-analysis processes to improve agent quality, latency, cost, and reliability.
• Partner with DevOps and business stakeholders on Azure deployment, monitoring, security, release management, rollback procedures, technical standards, mentoring, and training.

Requirements

• Production experience designing, developing, deploying, and supporting AI agents, agentic applications, or tool-enabled LLM workflows.
• Strong Python skills and working knowledge of SQL, APIs, automated testing, version control, code review, and maintainable software integration practices.
• Hands-on experience with LangGraph or a comparable stateful, multi-step agent framework, plus n8n or a comparable workflow automation platform.
• Experience delivering AI solutions with Azure Databricks, Azure AI Studio, or native Microsoft Azure services and governed enterprise data.
• Knowledge of agent architecture, RAG, API and webhook integrations, asynchronous execution, security controls, authorization, credential protection, observability, and recoverable production workflows.
• Ability to translate complex business requirements into technical solutions, communicate tradeoffs, mentor engineers, conduct code reviews, and establish engineering best practices.

Nice to have

• Production experience combining n8n with Python-based LangGraph agent services.
• Experience with Lakebase or similar persistent-state technologies, MLflow, LangSmith, MCP servers, reusable agent tools, multi-agent architectures, or advanced retrieval.
• Working knowledge of JavaScript or TypeScript and experience building interfaces for agent progress, citations, approvals, and feedback.
• Experience delivering AI or technology solutions in legal services, professional services, or other sensitive-information environments.
