Manufacturing Excellence Engineer (Power Electronics)

Location: Mesa, Arizona, USA; hybrid as required

What you will do

• Lead manufacturing engineering activities with contract manufacturers across prototype, pilot, ramp, and production stages.
• Develop scalable assembly processes, tooling, fixtures, work instructions, testing methods, and manufacturing documentation.
• Support new product introduction, process validation, pilot builds, and engineering change implementation.
• Manage end-of-line testing and analyze production issues to reduce defects and improve process capability.
• Improve first-pass yield, cycle time, factory productivity, and manufacturing cost.
• Support operator training and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• 5+ years of progressive manufacturing engineering experience in a production environment.
• Hands-on experience developing and improving assembly processes for power electronics.
• Practical knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Kaizen, value-stream improvement, and waste reduction.
• Experience with process development, NPI, process validation, tooling, work instructions, production troubleshooting, operator training, and first-pass-yield improvement.
