Manufacturing Engineer, NPI

What you will do

• Bridge product design and manufacturing for new product introductions in a high-mix production environment.
• Analyze requirements, develop manufacturing processes, and transition new products into production.
• Create bills of materials, work instructions, and routings in an MES system.
• Identify critical process parameters and build datasets for yield and process improvement.
• Plan, prepare, train, and execute transfers to manufacturing.
• Design balanced assembly lines, identify automation opportunities, and lead continuous improvement projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in industrial, mechanical, electrical, or software engineering.
• At least 2 years of experience in a mixed production environment.
• Knowledge of structured problem-solving, SPC tools, process control, and lean manufacturing.
• Experience leading Process Failure Mode Effects Analysis and design-for-excellence activities.
• Ability to work safely with mechanical and electrical hardware, high voltage, gas, water, and heat.
• Certain products and technologies may be subject to ITAR or EAR controls and may require U.S. person status.

Nice to have

• Machine shop, TIG or laser welding, measurement equipment, and production troubleshooting experience.
• Programming with Python, JavaScript, LabVIEW, or SQL.
• Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma Green Belt certification.
• SolidWorks, Power BI, Minitab, MES, product lifecycle management, or Oracle ERP experience.
