Principal, Pricing & Packaging (Cybersecurity)

Location: Remote - USA

Base salary: $172,100–$247,500 USD per year, plus potential bonus or incentive compensation, equity, and benefits.

What you will do

• Own pricing, packaging, and metering recommendations for email security bundles and new products.
• Design count-based, usage-based, consumption-based, and credit-pool pricing models.
• Continuously reassess pricing across the multi-product portfolio as market and competitive conditions change.
• Build a pricing decision-making cadence with senior leadership and guide recommendations through final decisions.
• Partner with Sales Operations, Billing, and CPQ teams to implement rate cards, CPQ configuration, and contract templates.
• Train sales teams, analyze pricing performance, benchmark competitors, and use AI tools to model scenarios and research markets.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in pricing strategy, packaging, or monetization, ideally in B2B SaaS or cybersecurity.
• End-to-end ownership of pricing from recommendation through decision and implementation.
• Direct experience with usage-based, consumption-based, or credit-pool pricing models.
• Experience managing pricing across an existing multi-product portfolio.
• Strong quantitative and analytical skills, including pricing models, deal analysis, and discount analysis.
• Experience influencing senior stakeholders and partnering with Sales Operations, Billing, and CPQ teams.

Nice to have

• Experience in cybersecurity or enterprise security software.
• MBA or equivalent strategy, finance, or consulting background.
• Hands-on experience with Salesforce CPQ and deal desk processes.
• Experience scaling pricing from a single-product to a multi-product business.
