What you will do

• Manage, design, develop, implement, and document Environmental, Health & Safety programs, with a focus on the Environmental Air Program.
• Monitor federal, state, and local EH&S regulations and evaluate their impact on current and future operations.
• Serve as the primary liaison with regulatory agencies, prepare for inspections, and develop responses to notices of violation and compliance orders.
• Develop recommendations, training resources, policies, and procedures to support compliant operations and reduce long-term EH&S liability.
• Assess processes, benchmark industry standards, and support global EH&S initiatives and operational changes.
• Design and conduct periodic audits and inspections and provide technical expertise for internal audit programs.

Requirements

• Doctorate degree; or a master’s degree and 2 years of EH&S experience; or a bachelor’s degree and 4 years of EH&S experience; or an associate’s degree and 8 years of EH&S experience; or a high school diploma/GED and 10 years of EH&S experience.
• Strong technical proficiency in environmental compliance regulations and experience interacting with government agencies.
• Experience leading program development and/or EH&S project management.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other computer software systems.
• Effective written and verbal communication in English and Spanish, including technical writing and computer literacy.

Nice to have

• Academic degree in engineering or science.
• Experience in the pharmaceutical, medical device, or biotechnology industry.
