EUC Engineer (Quant Trading)

Location: London, Greater London, South East, England

Salary: £100,000–£150,000 per annum plus annual bonus and training budget

What you will do

• Deliver a high-quality end-user experience for demanding users in a fast-paced trading environment.
• Identify repetitive support tasks and automate them through scripting.
• Troubleshoot desktop performance issues using system and process metrics.
• Investigate problems end-to-end, resolve root causes, and document outcomes.
• Work with vendors, technology teams, and business stakeholders to improve systems and services.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of experience in IT support, service desk, desktop support, or an EUC role.
• Strong Windows skills and exposure to Active Directory, networking, or Linux.
• Scripting experience with PowerShell, Python, or Go.
• Strong customer service skills and the ability to explain technical issues clearly.
• Genuine interest in technology, demonstrated through a home lab or side projects.
• Suitable for an early-career technologist building foundational IT expertise in financial trading.
