Principal Electrical Engineer (Water)

What you will do

• Design LV electrical systems, schematics, equipment layouts, lighting, and motor control centers.
• Develop and integrate communications systems, SCADA, instrumentation, and PLC solutions.
• Deliver designs and technical documentation for water and wastewater treatment plants.
• Contribute to project scope, budgets, and programs within engineering and design modelling teams.
• Lead projects across the full asset lifecycle and collaborate with clients, construction partners, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Mentor junior engineers and support major capital projects and facility upgrades.

Requirements

• Accredited Bachelor of Electrical Engineering or a related qualification.
• Experience in complex industrial plant or water industry environments.
• Strong design experience and knowledge of relevant industry standards.
• Strong skills in instrumentation, controls, SCADA, and LV electrical design.
• Previous experience in industrial, manufacturing, mining, construction, or consulting environments.
• Ability to produce technical documentation and work within project scope, budget, and program requirements.
