Annual base pay: $35,900.00–$74,800.00

What you will do

• Receive, accession, label, sort, store, and ship clinical specimens.
• Maintain freezer systems, specimen inventories, and storage records.
• Identify and escalate specimen or process issues and support routine troubleshooting.
• Guide entry-level staff on departmental procedures and assist with onboarding.
• Respond to after-hours alarms and support critical laboratory operations.
• Monitor supplies and communicate shortages while supporting safety, quality, and 6S initiatives.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; some CAP/CLIA laboratory locations may require a bachelor's degree in chemistry, biology, or medical laboratory technology.
• Six months of related experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of specimen accessioning, inventory management, storage, and shipment processes.
• Basic computer skills and the ability to follow internal systems and procedures.
• Strong attention to detail, communication, reporting, workflow control, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand and walk frequently, perform close eye work, and occasionally work in cold temperatures.
