Registered Nurse-IMCU Full Time Days

Location: Palos Heights, Illinois, United States; onsite day shift

Salary: USD 34.50–55.20 per hour

What you will do

• Assess, document, and monitor the status and care needs of assigned patients from admission through discharge.
• Develop, implement, and continuously update individualized, age-specific plans of care.
• Provide evidence-based nursing interventions, patient and family education, and discharge planning.
• Evaluate patient progress and outcomes, identify unmet needs, and revise care plans accordingly.
• Collaborate with patients, families, nurses, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care.
• Present relevant patient information at multidisciplinary meetings and make referrals to support continuity of care.

Requirements

• Current Illinois Registered Professional Nurse license required.
• Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association required.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing required; an Associate Degree in Nursing is acceptable with a commitment to obtain a BSN within three years of starting the clinical nurse role.
• Strong interpersonal, collaboration, and analytical skills.
• Ability to organize accurate and complete clinical data and document assessments, interventions, responses, and outcomes.
• External ADN candidates are not currently being considered for RN openings at Palos Hospital; internal ADN candidates may apply.
