Senior Manager, Data & Analytics (AI)

What you will do

• Lead discovery and translate business priorities into product visions, value cases, roadmaps, backlogs, and measurable success criteria.
• Lead enterprise data, analytics, reporting, and AI-enabled initiatives from discovery through production delivery, adoption, and ongoing support.
• Deliver reusable, governed, discoverable, high-quality, and scalable enterprise data products.
• Partner with business owners, engineering, architecture, governance, Agile/PMO, and global engineering teams to manage dependencies, risks, trade-offs, and delivery plans.
• Evaluate and apply agentic data-engineering capabilities, including automated pipeline development, data-quality monitoring, metadata generation, observability, and issue resolution.
• Track adoption, operational, delivery, and business-value metrics while leading post-launch enhancement and lifecycle management.

Requirements

• Doctorate with 2 years, master’s degree with 6 years, bachelor’s degree with 8 years, associate’s degree with 10 years, or high school diploma/GED with 12 years of relevant experience.
• At least 2 years of direct people management or leadership experience leading teams, projects, programs, or resource allocation.
• Experience delivering data, analytics, reporting, or digital solutions in the life sciences industry with large global teams.
• Experience leading cross-functional initiatives from discovery through production delivery, adoption, and ongoing support.
• Demonstrated experience with Databricks, AWS, Power BI, and related data, analytics, cloud, integration, or visualization technologies.
• Strong ability to translate business needs into product requirements, delivery plans, measurable outcomes, and production-ready solutions.

Nice to have

• Experience with enterprise-scale data, analytics, reporting, AI, or digital-product initiatives in complex, matrixed organizations.
• Experience with Agile or scaled Agile delivery, product roadmaps, backlog management, PI planning, and release planning.
• Experience developing reusable enterprise data products such as governed datasets, pipelines, semantic models, APIs, or analytics products.
• Knowledge of AI-enabled data engineering, GxP, validation, data governance, privacy, security, and life sciences regulatory expectations.
