Quality Engineer (Electrification)

Location: Onsite in Juarez, Nuevo León, Mexico

What you will do

• Monitor manufacturing processes and quality performance to identify risks, trends, and improvement opportunities.
• Support the implementation and continuous improvement of quality procedures, standards, and work instructions.
• Work with manufacturing teams to reduce process variation, defects, scrap, and rework.
• Define and monitor process quality indicators and improvement actions.
• Lead or support structured problem-solving for internal and customer quality issues using 8D, 5 Why, Ishikawa, Pareto analysis, and root cause analysis.
• Coordinate containment, corrective actions, and effectiveness verification through closure.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Manufacturing, Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in Quality, Process Quality, Manufacturing Quality, or a related manufacturing environment.
• Direct experience working with manufacturing processes and production teams.
• Advanced English communication skills required for technical discussions.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Knowledge of PFMEA, control plans, nonconformance and corrective action management, quality KPIs, and data analysis.
