What you will do
- Implement and audit in-process quality controls across electronics manufacturing lines, including control plans, work instructions, and technical specifications.
- Define defect reaction, escalation, and exemption processes for quality excursions and production stoppages.
- Lead root-cause analysis and corrective actions using 8D, Fishbone, and 5-Why methodologies.
- Monitor SPC data and Cpk trends, implement poka-yoke solutions, and conduct layered process audits.
- Manage gauge, tooling calibration, and measurement systems analysis with supplier quality engineering.
- Support NPI approvals, supplier audits, supplier scorecards, and SCAR processes.
Requirements
- Experience in quality control and assurance within electronics manufacturing and international EMS factories.
- Proficiency with FMEA, RCA, PPAP, SPC, and Cpk tools.
- Deep knowledge of quality management systems and Six Sigma methodology.
- Experience driving supplier development, process improvement, variation reduction, and waste reduction.
- Strong capability in leading 8D analysis and corrective and preventive actions.
- Ability to work in or be based in Zapopan, Jalisco, Mexico.
