Machine Operator, Neck Mill (Manufacturing)

Location: Corona, CA, United States; onsite

What you will do

• Operate punch presses, press brakes, CNC machines, mills, routers, slitters, and other metalworking equipment.
• Set up machinery and perform equipment changeovers as required.
• Inspect parts and processed units for quality, size, and dimensional accuracy.
• Maintain clean work areas, clean equipment, and complete tool inventories at the beginning and end of shifts.
• Support production flow across the mill, custom shop, mod shop, subassembly, and final assembly departments.
• Handle regulated materials and use required personal protective equipment in compliance with company and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent, plus two years of experience and/or training.
• Experience with machinery, metal bending or fabrication, machine shops, drilling, or cutting.
• Ability to read metal shop blueprints, job orders, tooling instructions, tape measures, and calipers.
• Ability to stand, walk, lift, twist, pull, carry, squat, and reach while feeding and retrieving metal parts.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and wear required PPE, including safety glasses.
• Availability to work overtime and assist other coworkers or production areas as needed.
