What you will do

• Set up and operate manual and computerized milling, lathe, deburring, and tooling machines.
• Perform drilling, chamfering, deburring, and related machining operations.
• Inspect first parts and production workpieces using micrometers, calipers, and other precision measuring equipment.
• Detect malfunctions and out-of-tolerance machining, and maintain records of parts produced.
• Track raw material inventory and identify replenishment needs for jobs and work orders.
• Operate equipment safely, work independently, and resolve production problems.

Requirements

• Proficient English reading and writing skills, including the ability to understand MSDS sheets and standard work instructions.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• At least 2 years of machining experience.
• Operational knowledge of CNC mills and lathes, including manually calculating and setting controls or entering commands.
• Ability to set up machines independently, read drawings and blueprints, and use micrometers, calipers, and common machine tools.
• Ability to communicate effectively, work with moderate guidance, and consistently deliver quality work.
