Machine Operator (2nd Shift) (Manufacturing)

Location: West Fargo, North Dakota, United States; onsite at the West Fargo facility

Hourly pay: $20.53–$26.13 per hour, plus a 7% second-shift premium

Manufactures construction and mining equipment, engines, industrial gas turbines, and diesel-electric locomotives, with a remanufacturing business focused on sustainable product life cycles.

What you will do

• Operate and safely set up CNC and manual machines for standardized parts.
• Use precision measuring devices, blueprints, gauges, and torque equipment to meet quality specifications.
• Perform pre- and post-inspections and maintain close-tolerance finishes.
• Set up and perform laser operations including seam welding, heat treatment, and hard facing.
• Assist with technical issues, production problems, work instructions, and corrective actions.
• Collaborate with production personnel and plant management while meeting customer requirements.

Requirements

• At least two years of job-related experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced production setting.
• Ability to read blueprints and use gauges, measuring devices, and torque equipment.
• Ability to work safely, follow facility procedures, complete risk assessments, and use required personal protective equipment.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and communicate with employees across the facility.
• High school diploma or equivalent and a two-year technical school degree are preferred.
