Engineer Technical Support I (HVACR)

What you will do

• Provide remote and on-site technical support for HVAC and refrigeration systems through phone, email, and chat.
• Troubleshoot controllers, system applications, site connectivity, VPN tunnels, cellular communications, and monitoring platforms.
• Program and optimize hirify.global supervisory controllers, including E2, E3, and Site Supervisor.
• Conduct remote commissioning for startup sites and verify controller configuration, network connectivity, monitoring, and reporting readiness.
• Create graphical custom screens, validate live and backend data, and support temperature monitoring for food service applications.
• Automate reports with Power BI, correct data and delivery issues, and document solutions in the knowledge base.

Requirements

• Technical support and troubleshooting experience with HVAC and refrigeration systems.
• Ability to work with controller configuration, programming, system applications, and code-related issues.
• Knowledge of networking and connectivity concepts, including VPN tunnels and cellular communications.
• Ability to analyze data, validate reporting accuracy, and troubleshoot automated report generation and delivery.
• Ability to create technical drawings, work instructions, troubleshooting guides, and detailed support cases.
• Ability to provide both remote and on-site support in Mexico City, Mexico.
