Facilities Project Manager / Space Planner

Location: Full-time onsite at the Pentagon in Arlington, Virginia, Monday through Friday, with approximately 10–20% travel within the National Capital Region.

Salary: $125,000–$135,000 per year, plus potential performance-based bonuses and additional incentives.

What you will do

• Manage multiple facility and construction projects, including workspace, furniture, office renovation, space planning, and secure facility construction efforts.
• Meet with stakeholders to define requirements, review drawings and space plans, and develop Statements of Work and project schedules.
• Coordinate procurement documentation, vendors, government partners, and contractors.
• Provide proactive status updates to stakeholders and senior leaders, including progress, risks, and next steps.
• Troubleshoot project issues and independently manage concurrent priorities and deadlines.
• Perform work in varied facility environments, including walking, climbing stairs, using ladders, and accessing confined or awkward workspaces.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of relevant experience in facilities management, construction project management, project or program management, architecture, engineering, space planning, or a related field.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, or an additional 4 years of relevant professional experience in place of the degree.
• Active Secret security clearance.
• Experience developing project plans, schedules, Statements of Work, or similar documentation.
• Ability to read and understand architectural, engineering, construction, and facility drawings and plans.
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD, strong proficiency with Microsoft Project, and the ability to brief project information to senior leadership.
