Corporate Controller (AI)

Location: San Francisco, CA; on-site

Salary: $280K–$315K annually, plus equity

hirify.global is building a multi-silicon neocloud for fast, efficient AI inference by combining large-scale compute infrastructure with an execution platform that maps AI workloads to suitable hardware.

What you will do

• Own monthly, quarterly, and annual close and reporting across a growing multi-entity organization.
• Lead consolidations and accounting for corporate entities and SPVs, partnering with Finance, Tax, Treasury, and Legal.
• Manage technical accounting across revenue recognition, leases, fixed assets, stock-based compensation, and complex commercial arrangements.
• Lead external audits and develop policies, controls, and operating discipline for public-company readiness.
• Own financial operations including payroll, equity administration, cash management, procurement, AP, billing, collections, and AR.
• Build scalable billing processes, evolve the ERP and financial systems, apply automation and AI, and develop the Accounting and Financial Operations organization.

Requirements

• 10+ years of progressive accounting experience with meaningful ownership of Accounting and Financial Operations.
• Experience operating as a Controller, Assistant Controller with significant ownership, or equivalent accounting leader in a rapidly scaling company.
• Deep, current US GAAP expertise across revenue recognition, fixed assets, leases, stock-based compensation, and complex commercial arrangements.
• Hands-on ownership of close and consolidation across multiple legal entities, along with payroll, equity administration, AP, billing, collections, and cash operations.
• Experience leading external audits, building accounting controls, and implementing or scaling an ERP and related financial systems.
• Strong cross-functional judgment and ability to explain complex accounting issues clearly to non-accountants.

Nice to have

• Big Four public accounting experience.
• Experience preparing a high-growth private company for an IPO or operating through the transition to becoming public.
• Experience in AI infrastructure, cloud, data centers, hardware, SaaS, usage-based pricing, SPVs, or equipment financing.
• Experience partnering with FP&A, Strategic Finance, or Capital Markets.
• CPA or equivalent accounting qualification.
