Technical Recruiter (AI)

What you will do

• Run full-cycle searches from sourcing and initial screening through signed offers and thoughtful rejections.
• Source and engage technical candidates, manage inbound interest, and maintain long-term candidate relationships.
• Design and coordinate interview loops, panels, reschedules, confirmations, and reference checks.
• Draft offer letters in Ashby, support negotiations, and close searches cleanly.
• Publish job postings, including monthly Hacker News “Who’s Hiring” postings and relevant forums.
• Build recruiting processes, manage the Ashby dashboard, and report on pipeline health, conversion, and time to hire.

Requirements

• 5+ years of recruiting experience in a fast-paced, high-growth startup.
• Hands-on full-cycle recruiting experience for technical roles, ideally AI/ML researchers, engineers, or scientists.
• Proficiency in both G&A and technical recruiting.
• Ability to evaluate and credibly communicate with technical candidates.
• Fluency with Ashby or a comparable applicant tracking system, with reliable and clean data management.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States; employment verification is conducted through E-Verify.
