Product Validation Engineer, Senior

What you will do

• Develop and execute experiments and performance tests to assess the reliability of devices and solutions.
• Design test plans, procedures, fixtures, and moderately complex Design of Experiments.
• Perform testing, metrology, data collection, interpretation, statistical analysis, and root cause analysis.
• Work with design engineers and development teams to identify critical performance parameters.
• Support and monitor manufacturing activities performed by an electronic manufacturing services provider and report results to global or regional teams.
• Contribute to process improvement and test automation projects; present results to project stakeholders.

Requirements

• Experience applying standard and specialized testing methods.
• Strong knowledge of product operation and product cost drivers within the area of expertise.
• Proficiency with standard and specialized engineering tools.
• Ability to independently create test procedures, make decisions for new procedures, and deliver results within project timelines.
• Expertise in structured test design, test setup, metrology, data collection, data interpretation, and statistical analysis.
• Ability to oversee test technicians and act as a technical lead and escalation point.
