Senior Quality Engineer (Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Develop and implement a comprehensive QA framework aligned with EU and German manufacturing standards for timber prefabrication.
• Define quality control processes for new products from concept through production readiness.
• Conduct root cause analysis and drive corrective actions for non-conformances and process failures.
• Embed quality requirements across engineering, production, and supply chain workflows.
• Manage internal and supplier-facing audits and maintain regulatory compliance documentation.
• Report quality KPIs and present findings and recommendations to senior leadership.

Requirements

• Extensive quality management experience in manufacturing, ideally in timber, modular construction, or construction prefabrication.
• Deep knowledge of EU manufacturing standards and German regulatory requirements, including DIN, EN, and CE marking.
• Experience building or significantly restructuring a QA function, including standards, SOPs, and inspection protocols.
• Experience leading and developing engineering teams in a quality or production context.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001 or equivalent quality management systems and lean or continuous improvement methodologies.
• Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related technical field.
