Middle Office Analyst - FX

Location: New York, NY, United States

Base salary: $120,000–$160,000 per year, plus discretionary performance-based bonuses and benefits.

What you will do

• Monitor and resolve daily position, trade, and cash discrepancies with external counterparties.
• Reconcile position, cash, and PnL breaks with internal and external stakeholders.
• Improve workflows and document complex processes into middle office guidelines.
• Onboard new trading activity into existing technology and platforms.
• Research and process applicable corporate actions.
• Maintain commission structures across markets.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of relevant financial markets experience, preferably supporting an FX trading desk.
• Working knowledge of FX spot, forwards, swaps, NDFs, options, trade lifecycles, and settlement processes.
• Hands-on Python experience for data analysis, workflow automation, and operational tooling in a Linux environment.
• Experience with SQL and relational databases.
• Strong cross-functional communication, collaboration, debugging, and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently and maintain attention to detail in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.

Nice to have

• Experience with FX post-trade matching, confirmation, and settlement platforms such as Traiana and MarkitWire.
