Manager, eFX Trader (Fintech)

Location: Hybrid position based in the Foster City, California office; at least 3 days per week in the office. U.S. applicants only. Travel required 5–10% of the time.

Salary: $129,200–$206,700 USD per year, with potential bonus, equity, and applicable sales incentive payments.

What you will do

• Manage daily FX exposures, market risk, liquidity, risk limits, and controls across hirify.global.
• Support the strategic design, implementation, and monitoring of the electronic FX trading business.
• Collaborate with data, risk, product, technology, and commercialization teams on FX product design and configuration.
• Implement the eFX Trading product roadmap and deliver objectives related to financial performance, client delivery, risk, and controls.
• Manage liquidity providers and work with global sales and product teams to advance the client agenda.
• Support the development of a specialist trading function in Singapore through regional analytics, reporting, and local business discussions.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of relevant experience, including 5+ years in FX trading, sales, or product, with a bachelor's degree; equivalent advanced-degree pathways are accepted.
• Experience in the buy side, sell side, or an FX technology vendor environment.
• Ability to apply quantitative methods to eFX pricing and risk management and use data science to identify observations and patterns.
• Knowledge of payment rails, payment ecosystems, and infrastructure.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, solution-delivery, prioritization, and stakeholder collaboration skills.
• Ability to work from the Foster City office at least 3 days per week; U.S. applicants only.

Nice to have

• Six or more years of work experience with a bachelor's degree or equivalent advanced-degree experience.
• Experience with eFX trading infrastructure, API connectivity, GUI, and stream configuration.
• Knowledge of eFX pricing and risk management strategies.
