Location: Fully remote within the approved US states: Arkansas, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Florida, Illinois, Louisiana, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, Washington, and Wisconsin.
Compensation: $500–$1,500 per project.

What you will do
- Develop, scale, and QA workplace safety and EHS courses for OSHA General Industry and Construction standards.
- Create training on hazard communication, emergency action planning, PPE, lockout/tagout, DOT, EPA, and related compliance topics.
- Translate federal and state safety regulations into clear, engaging, learner-centered digital training.
- Ensure course content meets regulatory requirements, including OSHA training mandates and documentation standards.
- Monitor changes to OSHA, EPA, and state-specific EHS requirements and identify content updates.
- Design accessible learning experiences for frontline workers, supervisors, and safety managers.
Requirements
- Experience creating workplace safety or EHS training content.
- Strong working knowledge of OSHA standards, training mandates, and authorized or competent person training requirements.
- Experience translating regulatory requirements into engaging digital, LMS, or e-learning content.
- Experience with AI-powered course authoring tools such as Articulate Rise and generative AI tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, or Gemini.
- Strong written communication, instructional design skills, and rigorous attention to detail.
- Must be located in one of the approved US states listed above.
Nice to have
- Active OSHA Outreach Trainer authorization for 10-hour or 30-hour General Industry or Construction programs.
- Familiarity with state-plan OSHA programs and differences from federal standards.
- Experience in high-hazard industries such as manufacturing, construction, warehousing, oil and gas, or healthcare.
- Experience with EHS management systems or EPA, RCRA, and DOT hazmat compliance training.
- Current Certified Instructional Trainer certification from the Board of Certified Safety Professionals.
