Primary Curriculum Lead (AI, Education)

What you will do

• Lead the development of K–6 mathematics textbook content aligned with the Australian Curriculum: Mathematics Version 9.0.
• Oversee content planning, creation workflows, and coordination with internal contributors.
• Review materials against curriculum content descriptions, achievement standards, and mathematical proficiencies.
• Provide clear, actionable feedback to maintain pedagogical quality, mathematical rigour, and year-level progression.
• Champion AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, and Gemini throughout the content development process.
• Identify and implement workflow improvements using new AI capabilities.

Requirements

• Extensive experience teaching primary mathematics in Australian schools across K–6.
• Deep knowledge of the Australian Curriculum: Mathematics Version 9.0, including content descriptions, achievement standards, and proficiency strands.
• Experience implementing Version 9.0 curriculum changes.
• Strong familiarity with current AI tools and enthusiasm for applying them to content development.
• Excellent attention to detail, organisational skills, communication skills, and ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Collaborative approach and ability to work effectively in a remote environment.

Nice to have

• Experience in project management, publishing, or educational content development.
• Familiarity with state-specific primary mathematics syllabi, including NSW and Victorian curricula.
• Experience with digital learning platforms or edtech environments.
• Experience with LaTeX or mathematical typesetting.
• Basic understanding of coding.
