What you will do

• Lead the development of K-6 mathematics digital textbook content aligned with the NSW Mathematics Syllabus.
• Oversee content planning, creation workflows, coordination, and completion.
• Review materials for alignment with syllabus outcomes, content descriptions, and mathematics proficiency strands.
• Provide specific, actionable feedback to support precise content revisions and quality standards.
• Champion AI tools and identify opportunities to improve content development processes and workflows.
• Maintain consistency in pedagogy, mathematical rigour, and age-appropriate progression.

Requirements

• Extensive experience teaching primary mathematics in NSW schools across K-6.
• Deep understanding of the NSW Mathematics K-6 Syllabus and Working Mathematically processes.
• Familiarity with NSW Curriculum Reform changes.
• Strong familiarity with AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, and Gemini.
• Excellent attention to detail, communication, organisation, and feedback skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment, meet deadlines, and collaborate effectively.

Nice to have

• Experience in project management, publishing, or educational content development.
• Familiarity with Victorian Curriculum or Australian Curriculum mathematics programs.
• Experience with digital learning platforms or edtech environments.
• Experience with LaTeX or mathematical typesetting.
• Basic coding knowledge.
