Outsourced Accounting Senior Accountant-Senior Living/Home Health (Healthcare)

Location: Remote from anywhere in the United States

Salary: $77,000–$104,000 base pay annually, with potential discretionary bonus

What you will do

• Manage day-to-day financial reporting accuracy for assigned healthcare clients.
• Review complex general ledgers, account classifications, balance sheets, work papers, schedules, and reporting packages.
• Prepare and finalize month-end close activities, including KPI and metrics reporting.
• Coordinate client projects and workflows while managing accountant assignments, budgets, and deadlines.
• Maintain client procedure manuals and help develop accounting best practices.
• Collaborate with other teams and service lines as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of accounting experience focused on financial reporting and general ledger management.
• Full-cycle accounting experience in healthcare, such as physician practices, skilled nursing, hospitals, or clinics.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and month-end close processes.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite; ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
