Senior Analyst, SEC Reporting & Technical Accounting (Healthcare)

Location: Deerfield, Illinois, United States; hybrid workplace with a required minimum number of onsite days.

Salary: $80,000–$110,000 annually, plus potential discretionary bonuses.

What you will do

• Prepare Forms 10-K, 10-Q, 8-K, U.S. GAAP financial statements, management discussion and analysis, footnote disclosures, and other SEC filings using Workiva.
• Perform detailed tie-outs and financial analysis for SEC filings, investor presentations, quarterly earnings releases, and other reporting materials.
• Support technical accounting for pensions, restructuring, stock compensation, business combinations, divestitures, joint ventures, and investments.
• Perform month-end close activities, including preparing or reviewing journal entries and reports.
• Support quarterly and annual external audits and maintain SOX compliance.
• Monitor GAAP and SEC developments and implement new accounting and disclosure standards while improving reporting processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Accounting; CPA preferred.
• At least 2 years of relevant SEC reporting experience.
• Strong technical, research, analytical, written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Strong Excel skills and close attention to detail, quality, and controls.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines.
• Must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available.

Nice to have

• Experience with stock compensation accounting, pension accounting, or financial reporting.
• CPA certification.
