Shipping Specialist - Pleasanton, CA (Logistics): Managing physical and administrative shipping operations, inventory, work orders, and kit assembly with an accent on order accuracy, inventory control, and on-time processing. Focus on preparing shipments, operating warehouse equipment, resolving carrier issues, and maintaining accurate ERP records.
Location: On-site in Pleasanton, California; Tuesday–Saturday, 2:00 PM–10:30 PM.
Hourly compensation: $17.09–$22 USD; the starting hourly rate is $22 including the swing shift differential.

What you will do
- Prepare, label, pack, move, and ship outgoing orders using carrier and shipping documentation.
- Build kits according to current bills of materials and maintain shipping supplies.
- Manage work orders, supporting documentation, data entry, and order-receipt approvals.
- Maintain accurate inventory through receiving, stocking, cycle counts, and ERP updates.
- Pick and pack materials, meet order-processing deadlines, and track performance metrics.
- Troubleshoot site delivery and pickup issues with carriers including FedEx, UPS, and DHL.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- 1–2 years of experience in a warehouse environment.
- Computer proficiency and experience with spreadsheets, third-party systems, and ERP software.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize work, and maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication, organization, accountability, and teamwork.
Nice to have
- Experience with FedEx, UPS, and DHL international shipping.
- Experience with Microsoft GP.
