Shipping and Receiving Associate

What you will do

• Prepare and process domestic and international shipments through UPS, FedEx, LTL carriers, and other couriers.
• Select appropriate carriers and shipping methods to meet customer and internal requirements.
• Receive, handle, store, package, and ship materials, parts, and finished goods while maintaining inventory accuracy.
• Maintain shipping records in internal databases, intranet systems, and ERP software.
• Resolve shipping errors, order-entry issues, late orders, packing slip discrepancies, part-count differences, and purchase-order issues.
• Support Sales, Marketing, and Customer Service with shipping tradeshow supplies, marketing materials, and samples.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills and solid customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently, multitask, prioritize workload, and follow printed and computer-based instructions.
• Ability to work safely with sharp tools and objects and lift or move up to 50+ pounds.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented manufacturing environment while maintaining safety, quality, and organization.
• Must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, or foreign national with refugee or asylee status; temporary visa holders are not eligible.

Nice to have

• Two or more years of shipping and receiving experience.
• Forklift experience.
• Experience with UPS or FedEx shipping software.
• Experience with international shipments.
