Autonomy Program Engineering Manager - Advanced Robotics (Electrical Systems/Autonomous Robotics): Delivering electrical content for autonomous robotics programs from concept through launch with an accent on wiring, communications, electrical architecture, controls calibration, sensing, and production readiness. Focus on leading cross-functional engineering execution, resolving design and test issues, managing technical dependencies, and ensuring scalable, buildable designs reach production on schedule.

Location: Hybrid in Warren, Michigan; required to report to the specific location at least 3 times per week. Travel is required for less than 25% of the role. The position requires U.S. Person status and does not offer immigration sponsorship.

What you will do

  • Own end-to-end program execution for electrical content from concept through launch.
  • Engineer wiring, networking, communications, electrical architectures, sensing strategies, and related infrastructure.
  • Lead controls calibration, commissioning tools, and scalable end-of-line testing and calibration processes.
  • Manage design release, engineering changes, configuration control, and production-ready documentation.
  • Drive program plans, milestones, dependencies, risk management, and technical decision-making.
  • Partner with Product Integration, Software, Validation, Manufacturing, Development, deployment teams, suppliers, and the Kokomo plant.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience leading complex engineering programs or products.
  • Deep experience in mechanical and/or electrical system execution.
  • Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary engineering teams.
  • Strong program management capability combined with technical credibility.
  • Ability to make decisions in technically complex, high-ambiguity environments.
  • Must be a U.S. Person: U.S. citizen, U.S. permanent resident, asylee, or refugee.
