Transportation Services Manager (Aerospace)

Location: Grapevine, Texas, United States; on-site 80% of the time. The role requires 15% domestic travel and use of site-specific personal protective equipment.

What you will do

• Manage local transportation activities, performance indicators, budgets, cost allocation, audits, and packaging spend.
• Work with Warehouse Operations to develop transportation solutions that meet customer demand.
• Lead transportation service provider selection, tenders, rate negotiations, business reviews, and performance monitoring.
• Monitor contract adherence, billing accuracy, carrier performance, and damage claims.
• Develop transportation policies and drive logistics, cost-saving, lean process, and automation initiatives.
• Contribute to logistics strategy and ensure transportation capacity supports business growth and demand ramp-up.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in Supply Chain or Finance.
• At least seven years of experience in transportation, logistics, warehousing, or freight forwarding.
• Experience in procurement or contract management and logistics transportation operations.
• Strong supplier and relationship management experience.
• In-depth understanding of transportation costs, accessorial charges, and fees.
• Ability to analyze large, multidimensional datasets.
