Plant Engineering Manager (Manufacturing)

Location: Onsite at the Hidden Valley Ranch plant in Wheeling, Illinois, USA

Salary: $91,200–$210,000 per year, depending on U.S. pay zone and location. The role is also eligible for participation in incentive plans.

What you will do

• Lead engineering, facility management, maintenance, utility, security, safety, permitting, and technical activities for the manufacturing plant.
• Set technical priorities and support productivity, cost reduction, environmental compliance, safety, and new product initiatives.
• Manage facility improvement plans, the master site plan, construction activities, contractor safety, and long-term plant needs.
• Lead engineering execution, equipment standardization, technical documentation, and early-stage project management practices.
• Manage capital project planning, procurement, scope, cost, schedule, spending plans, forecasts, approvals, and project reviews.
• Mentor engineering personnel and manage performance, staffing, capability development, hiring, and career growth.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering from an accredited institution.
• 10+ years of experience in plant-based engineering roles and at least 2 years leading engineering teams in a manufacturing plant.
• Experience with manufacturing environments, industrial operating conditions, rotating equipment, elevated work areas, and temperature variations.
• Strong experience managing engineering capital projects and applying structured manufacturing improvement methodologies.
• Ability to influence others, develop cross-functional technical solutions, and deliver work through other people.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available.
