What you will do

  • Provide front-line technical leadership and serve as the primary technical interface with the customer.
  • Lead engineering teams in delivering soft trim programs, including JIT and cut-and-sew programs.
  • Own engineering execution, technical decisions, program milestones, resources, and budget performance.
  • Drive on-time engineering releases, first-time DV/PV quality, and reduction of engineering changes.
  • Resolve technical issues and escalations while aligning products with customer specifications, performance, cost, and manufacturability targets.
  • Develop engineering team capability through coaching, mentoring, and structured development plans.

Requirements

  • BSME, Industrial Engineering degree, or equivalent experience.
  • 8+ years of experience in automotive engineering.
  • Strong background in trim engineering and successful launches of soft trim programs.
  • Demonstrated leadership of engineering teams delivering measurable results.
  • Expertise with engineering tools including DFMEA, Root Cause/8D, DVP, and GD&T.
  • Ability to work onsite at the Tech Center in Queretaro, Mexico.
