Specialist Product Engineer (Automotive)

Location: On-site at the San Luis Potosí plant, Mexico; 5% domestic or international travel may be required.

What you will do

• Lead automation projects for the automotive division.
• Lead productivity improvement projects.
• Act as a key product contact for the division at the San Luis Potosí plant.
• Collaborate with business divisions, local manufacturing, and staff functions across the organization.
• Support Management of Change, product quality, product design, and new product introduction.
• Contribute to plant growth and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Degree in chemical, mechanical, mechanical and electrical, manufacturing, mechatronic, or a similar engineering discipline.
• At least two years of experience in manufacturing, product and process engineering, or the automotive sector in a similar role.
• Intermediate or advanced English proficiency required.
• Availability to work on-site at the San Luis Potosí plant.
• Ability to collaborate with business, divisional, manufacturing, and cross-functional teams.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of SAP, APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, and MSA.
• Project management knowledge.
• Office, statistical, and communication skills.
