What you will do

• Coordinate and optimize standard work instructions for current products, new products, and engineering changes.
• Define, design, acquire, and improve assembly fixtures, gauges, equipment, and manual or controlled-torque tools.
• Introduce new technologies and continuous-improvement initiatives to increase production efficiency, quality, and delivery performance.
• Coordinate shop-floor changes with logistics, including material locations and production-line control methods.
• Communicate with operational and support units to implement projects and improve plant KPIs.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field, with at least two years of relevant experience.
• Experience with manufacturing processes, including automated processes, torque application, manual assembly, and fixtures.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing tools such as line balancing, VSM, PDCA, and AMEF.
• Experience designing poka-yokes and error-proofing systems.
• English at B2 level and Spanish at C2 level.
• Analysis, problem-solving, decision-making, communication, project management, negotiation, planning, and organization skills.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of GD&T.
• Experience with AutoCAD or SolidWorks.
• Experience with statistical software such as Minitab.
