Product Owner (Cybersecurity)

Location: Augusta, Georgia, US; hybrid work with customer-site attendance required 1–2 days per week at Fort Gordon, GA or the Georgia Cyber Center. Travel may be required up to 25% CONUS or OCONUS, sometimes on short notice.

Salary: $108,090–$175,000 per year.

What you will do

• Build and strengthen relationships with government and Army cyber customers.
• Lead analytics and application development activities and integrate capabilities into customer operations.
• Gather data and software requirements, define development roadmaps, and support delivery of DevSecOps capabilities.
• Serve as a subject-matter expert for the Army operational Big Data Platform, including user support and troubleshooting.
• Coordinate with engineering, development, marketing, and customer experience teams on operational plans and delivery timelines.
• Support business development through opportunity identification, proposals, market analysis, and solution-partner networking.

Requirements

• Current TS/SCI security clearance with CI Polygraph and U.S. citizenship are required.
• 9+ years of experience in DoD cyber, agile development, and/or big data with a bachelor’s degree; equivalent alternatives include 7 years with a master’s degree or 13 years with a high school diploma.
• Prior government or military experience with organizations such as MARFORCYBER, DCSA, DISA, Army Cyber, U.S. Cyber Command, AFCYBER, or Navy Cyber.
• Experience managing complex technical projects or programs and understanding government budgets and acquisition processes.
• Ability to work at the customer site 1–2 days per week at Fort Gordon or the Georgia Cyber Center.
• Strong communication, organization, presentation, interviewing, and collaboration skills, with willingness to travel up to 25%.

Nice to have

• Experience with software engineering, cloud technologies, data engineering, and cybersecurity.
• Technical background in determining system requirements, design, and estimating.
• Previous Big Data Platform or JCRS-D experience.
