Technician I - Process (Implant/Diffusion) (Semiconductor Manufacturing)

Location: Colorado Springs, Colorado, United States; onsite back-days shift every Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and every other Wednesday from 7:00 a.m. to 7:12 p.m.

Hourly pay: $19–$27 per hour.

What you will do

• Certify and train production operators while operating semiconductor production equipment.
• Improve manufacturing process efficiency and support production hold decisions and lot disposition.
• Perform equipment checks, qualifications, calibrations, recipe documentation, and first-line troubleshooting.
• Investigate process, product, and tool issues and implement corrective actions.
• Collect, analyze, interpret, and summarize production data and experiment results.
• Write operating specifications, progress reports, passdowns, OCAP documents, and equipment procedure updates in collaboration with engineers and Document Control.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required; an Associate of Science degree or higher is preferred.
• Understanding of semiconductor manufacturing practices, manufacturing process flows, and basic SPC theory and implementation.
• Ability to create and edit recipes, perform machine calibrations, and troubleshoot equipment failures.
• Strong computer, spreadsheet, documentation, communication, and multitasking skills.
• Ability to learn complex chemical equipment processes, solve problems, and complete projects with minimal supervision.
• More than two years of semiconductor manufacturing experience is preferred.

Nice to have

• Experience with diffusion and/or ion implantation.
• Experience writing or conducting Design of Experiments and applying statistical analysis.
• Experience programming and maintaining automated manufacturing equipment and machinery.
• Ability to interpret technical journals and procedures and present technical information.
