Principal Product Designer (AI)

Location: USA Remote

Base salary: $170,000–$260,000 USD annually; NYC base salary range.

What you will do

• Define and lead design direction across complex, multi-team product areas.
• Partner with product, engineering, data, and leadership to shape strategy, roadmaps, and alignment.
• Design cohesive end-to-end experiences across marketplace, provider, and practice products.
• Establish and evolve scalable design systems, frameworks, and reusable patterns.
• Raise the quality bar through hands-on design, critique, mentorship, and strategic guidance.
• Lead the integration of AI-native workflows using tools such as Cursor, Claude Code, and emerging technologies.

Requirements

• Proven experience leading and delivering high-impact product work across complex, multi-team problem spaces.
• Exceptional product design craft, creativity, product judgment, and strategic influence.
• Deep systems thinking and experience building scalable frameworks across a multi-sided ecosystem.
• Ability to partner with product, engineering, and leadership to drive clarity in ambiguous environments.
• Experience shipping at scale while balancing speed, quality, and long-term scalability.
• Experience collaborating closely with engineering and using emerging AI-native tools and workflows.
