Material Manager III (Industrial Construction)

Location: Onsite in Wheatfield, Indiana, United States, at construction sites and industrial facilities

Contract position for 6 months; compensation not specified.

What you will do

• Implement Procurement and Materials Department policies, programs, training, and compliance monitoring.
• Manage project materials mobilization, demobilization, logistics, inbound and outbound shipments.
• Lead staffing, training, performance management, and coordination for field Materials Management personnel.
• Coordinate materials responsibilities across procurement, expediting, data interface, project management, clients, joint-venture partners, and subcontractors.
• Oversee materials system entries, supplier data issue resolution, OS&D and MSO documentation, and preventive maintenance work orders.
• Coordinate materials metrics, Advanced Work Packaging activities, engineered and consumable programs, and surplus disposal.

Requirements

• Onsite work at construction sites and industrial facilities is required, including mobility at ground level and at heights and use of PPE.
• High school diploma or GED required; a bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• At least 5 years of Materials Management experience in large or mega industrial construction.
• Experience managing large teams and coordinating project controls, administration, construction, and other project groups.
• Experience with work package planning, bill of material development, and technical documents and drawings for industrial materials and equipment.
• Oracle Procurement/Inventory experience and strong Microsoft Office skills are desirable.
