Materials Project Manager (Semiconductor)

Location: Austin, TX; 100% onsite with no remote or hybrid opportunities

Salary: $88,000–$121,000 per year for the specified grade/level. Additional grade ranges may apply.

What you will do

• Forecast engineering, materials, and manufacturing requirements and communicate demand signals to suppliers.
• Coordinate materials deliverables across buyers, planners, production control, and engineering teams through matrix management.
• Create, release, and update materials strategies and execute commercialization transition plans.
• Support supplier selection, price and delivery negotiations, contract activities, risk assessments, and performance monitoring.
• Manage materials change control, cost objectives, total landed cost targets, and key process indicators.
• Resolve supplier quality issues and coordinate work on critical parts, long-lead parts, inspections, and supplier road maps.

Requirements

• Conceptual and practical expertise in the relevant discipline, with basic knowledge of related disciplines.
• Knowledge of best practices and how materials management integrates with other business areas.
• Ability to solve complex problems using multiple sources of information and sound judgment.
• Ability to explain difficult or sensitive information and build consensus across teams.
• Ability to act as a resource for less experienced colleagues and lead small projects.
• Must work onsite in Austin, TX; remote and hybrid arrangements are not available.
