Onsite Health Coach (Healthcare)

What you will do

• Provide face-to-face health coaching, education, and support to customers onsite.
• Conduct targeted health assessments and may perform biometric screenings, including finger sticks, blood pressure, and body composition measurements.
• Develop personalized, evidence-based health improvement plans and support customers in achieving their goals.
• Use biometric data and motivational interviewing to improve clinical outcomes and address barriers to better health.
• Lead group coaching, wellness challenges, health seminars, and other promotional activities.
• Support onsite events such as open enrollment, wellness committees, flu shot events, and health fairs.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in health coaching, health education, and health promotion.
• Bachelor's degree in a health-related field; a master's degree is preferred.
• CPR/BLS certification through the American Red Cross or American Heart Association is required.
• Strong clinical, administrative, computer, presentation, and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently, adapt to change, and maintain a customer-centric focus.
• Ability to manage clinical targets and outcome measurements and develop action plans that create clinical value.

Nice to have

• Registered Dietitian license in the applicable state.
• CHES certification.
• Motivational interviewing training or experience.
• Smoking cessation or diabetes experience.
